Quiet Soul

I tried talking to me today,
it seemed impossible !
I kept knocking;
but there was no answer.
But when I gave up;
I heard a voice.
"Today missy,
make no noice!
For I am resting;
and rest I shall,
'coz some rest I need;
before standing tall.
And then I'll be ready;
to face the worse,
They say; mind over matter;
And I; soul above all else !"
